How should you plan your working day?

I read with a little scepticism the Guardian Article “Why 11am on Monday will be your most productive moment all week.”  According to a two year study this is when workers will be at their peak productivity.  It also states that after midday although less productive, this is the time you are more susceptible to new ideas. If this is true then this could be incredibly useful when planning tasks and meetings for employees. High intensity tasks should be done in the morning and brain storming type exercises should be done in the afternoon. It may be worth giving this a go and see what happens?
