At Innovar, Richard is responsible for all Professional Services, overseeing and still delivering training, consultancy, project management and support. He also maintains strong long lasting relationships with our diverse client base which he is passionate about.

Richard began his career by graduating from the University of Kent in 1993 with a Joint Honours degree in Business Studies and Information Technology. He won the HSBC sponsored University award for outstanding contribution to teamwork, which laid the foundation for his approach towards successful project implementations.
Richard then spent 6 years at Willis, an International Risk Management Practice using the Cognos (Adaytum) software building models for budgeting, forecasting, activity based costing and month end reporting.
He joined Adaytum/Cognos in 2000 as a Senior Consultant and quickly gained promotion to Engagement Manager. Richard also presented at the Adaytum Worldwide User Conference.
Richard joined a Cognos partner in 2004 becoming Consultancy Manager. This involved managing an expanding team from 7 to 25 consultants whilst continuing to enjoy his passion for working with customers and sharing his vast knowledge of the software and planning principles.
Richard has now worked with 200 clients across all vertical business sectors throughout the UK, Channel Islands, Europe, USA and Australia.
Outside of work Richard is married, lives in Ipswich, attempts to play golf, run and fancies himself as a bit of a chef. He is also a taxi driver for his two children.
